121 Bukchon is run by a Japanese man and his Korean wife, who had lived in New York before they came to Korea to settle 18 years ago. Located on the street known as “Yonsama-gil” after the mega hit drama series “Winter Sonata,” 121 Bukchon is an ideal place to appreciate the beautiful landscape of the Hanok Village and the sunrise in Seoul. Facing southeast, it is a naturally well-lit and clean house. As a couple who love traveling, we had dreamed of running a guesthouse after retirement for a long time and succeeded in making our dream come true. We will do our best to make your visit to Seoul as best and memorable as possible.
121 Bukchon consists of two large rooms with queen- and king-size beds, a living room with a hideaway bed, and a kitchen. It can accommodate up to 6 people at a time. It is decorated with works of art by the wife the artist and antiques dating from the Joseon period (1392-1910). Each room is equipped with an air conditioning system. Anyone interested in food, travel, and art will enjoy his or her stay in our place. We can also give travel-related information on various regions in Korea and other nations and take you to various tourist spots, including royal palaces, fish markets, and night markets.

It takes roughly one hour from Incheon International Airport by bus (airport bus no. 6011). Get off at Anguk Station and walk toward the Choong Ang High School main gate for roughly 10 min. Or, you can use the taxi pickup service give the address to the taxi driver and he or she will take you to 121 Bukchon. You will be provided with a map and other necessary information when making reservations.
