Classic Gotaek Anguk is a private hanok (traditional Korean house) hotel remodeled from the "Kim Hyeong-tae House," designated as Seoul Folklore Cultural Heritage No. 30. Once part of the Joseon royal grounds, it also served as the educational site for Empress Myeongseong prior to her entrance into the royal court.
The property features two separate hanok buildings—Chateau and Chalet—each with its own gate and wall to ensure complete privacy.
